Spider is a variation of the classic Patience card game, known for its popularity as a two-deck solitaire option.
The primary objective of Spider is to strategically eliminate all cards from the playing area by organizing them in sequences within the tableau. At the start, 54 cards are distributed into ten piles on the tableau, with only the top card exposed. Cards in the tableau are stacked in descending order by rank, allowing for moving in-suit sequences together. As play progresses, the remaining 50 cards can be dealt in groups of ten to the tableau once all piles contain at least one card.
